- Since November 1975, the Galery has formed a rich archive on Turkish painting, a vast library on global art and a private col ection comprising valuable works. Over these years, the Galery has organized over 200 exhibitions and provided the col ectors with works of Turkish and foreign artists. With the purpose of giving an international identity to Turkish art, the gal ery has organized exhibitions abroad from 1978 to 1982 – namely in Chicago, Sofia and Düsseldorf. Keeping a watchful eye on the art gal eries, museums and artistic trends in the USA and Europe, Galeri Baraz is aiming to promote Turkish art abroad.
