- The gallery Brockstedt was founded in 1958 in Hannover and moved to Hamburg in 1959. In 1992, the second gallery was opened in Berlin. The gallery has always worked with modern masters, i.e. German Expressionists, the artists of Neue Sachlichkeit, Dada and Surrealism, as well as with contemporary painters and sculptors.
