- The gallery was established in 1989 by Ender Başaran and Övgü Arda. Our principal is to work with artists that have authentic works and established places in Turkish painting and art history; display their works for the appreciation of art-lovers; and undertake an educational mission where necessary. We aim to help artists transmit the values of fine arts to future generations. Our gallery has always avoided defining artworks as figurative or non-figurative. We think that the distinction of artworks should be based solely on quality, rather than being figurative or non- figurative.
